The ideal state for Remote Viewing is called "flow" - where you're fully immersed in the experience and recording impressions as they arise, without judgment or filtering. Here's how to achieve it:

  • Write continuously - Don't stop to analyze or question your impressions
  • Record everything - Even impressions that seem random, strange, or unrelated
  • Avoid self-editing - Your rational mind may try to "correct" impressions; ignore this impulse
  • Embrace uncertainty - The most accurate data often feels like "just making it up"
  • Quantity matters - More data points lead to better analysis and results

Preparation

Before you begin your session:

  1. Find a quiet place where you won't be disturbed for at least 20-30 minutes.
  2. Turn off notifications and put your phone on silent mode.
  3. Have a glass of water nearby and take a few moments to relax your body.
  4. Take three deep breaths, feeling yourself become more centered with each exhale.
  5. Remember: there are no "wrong" perceptions - everything you experience is valuable data.
